SECTION 1 - Enrolment

Places in our courses are only confirmed upon full and upfront payment of the term fees. Towards the end of each term, you are automatically reminded by email to enrol for the following term. Your or your child’s place in the following term will only be confirmed upon full and upfront payment of the next term’s fees.

Class sizes are strictly limited to the numbers available via our website, and due to the popularity of our classes we cannot reserve places. Any student who has not been enrolled online while there is availability will be unable to attend the course.

Please ensure you enrol your child in the correct group.

We reserve the right to refuse admission or cancel the enrolment of any student who poses a disciplinary problem or disrupts other students, as our teachers are not qualified to manage students with behavioural disorders, special needs or students who are unwilling to participate in the scheduled coursework.

Please advise us if your child has any behavioral or social difficulties that may affect them, and possibly others, within the classroom. These could include anxiety, being socially awkward, physical aggressiveness and shyness. Our staff we are not trained to care for children with severe behavioral syndromes.

By accepting these terms and conditions you are agreeing to your child being supervised outwith Paint in French for the lunch break during the School Holiday Program.

SECTION 2 - Fees

Please contact us or visit the relevant course page on our website for current pricing.

Payment for course fees is to be made online only via our website, which ensures that your or your child’s place is immediately confirmed upon payment. Please contact our office for assistance if you experience technical difficulties while enrolling online.

SECTION 3 - Refunds & Transfers

Please consider your booking carefully before enrolling as we do not offer refunds or class transfers once payment has been processed.

SECTION 4 - Trial classes

While we do not offer trial classes for potential students, please contact us if you would like to organise a complimentary tour of the school to help you determine if a course is suitable for you or your child.

SECTION 5 - Classes

Courses are designed to be sequential, so we strongly recommend that students attend every class in order to understand and build on the content taught.

Students should arrive for their class within and no earlier than 10 minutes of the scheduled start time, and should be picked up no later than 5 minutes after the conclusion of each class.

Students are not permitted to use mobile phones during class time, and all phones should be switched to silent. Teenage students may use their phone or iPod to listen to music while working.

Although we provide fruits , make sure that your chid has had a consistent lunch and a complementary afternoon tea , however drinking water is always readily available.

Throughout term courses no food is permitted in the studio, however during school holiday programs students are required to bring along a morning or afternoon snack, and a packed lunch if enrolled in a full day session. Due to common allergies we ask that any food students bring to the studio does not contain nuts of any kind (including peanut butter), eggs (omelettes and hard-boiled eggs), seafood (fish, shellfish and crustaceans), and refined sugar products (chocolate and confectionary).

All children are expected to respect all teachers, fellow students, artwork and property while in class. Children deemed to be exhibiting ongoing inappropriate or disruptive behavior may be removed from class after three warnings and discussion with their parent/s. Students are expected to wear footwear at all times when in the studio, as are adult and children visitors.

Parents or carers cannot stay with their child during a class as this can distract them and unsettle other children in the classroom. Parents are given a few minutes to settle their child in a class (if required), but once this has been done and the class has started, they must leave the classroom and return upon its completion. This way we can ensure that all children can learn independently.

SECTION 6 - Missed classes - cancellation

We cannot be held responsible for any changes in work commitments or personal circumstances of parents or students, and we will not issue refunds or transfers for any missed classes.

We don’t offer a make-up classes.

For cancellations or non-attendance of an art extension workshop no refunds will be offered. The fee paid can be used to attend a similar workshop staged at a later date in the same year, assuming dates and places are still available. A refund can only be paid if a replacement student is found to attend.

SECTION 7 - Teachers

We reserve the right to change teachers without notice because of circumstances outside of our control, and we will not issue a refund or transfer if there has been a change in the teacher of a class that you or your child is enrolled in. You agree that students are enrolled to undertake the course and there is no guarantee as to who the teacher will be.
